Supporting You Through Loss and Grief

Bereavement Counselling to Help You Heal

Losing a loved one is one of life’s hardest challenges, and grief can feel overwhelming. You don’t have to go through it alone. Bereavement counselling offers a compassionate space where you can express your emotions, process your loss, and find a way to move forward at your own pace. Our experienced counsellors provide the guidance and support you need during this difficult time.

Are You Struggling to Cope with Loss?

Grief affects everyone differently, and healing takes time. Bereavement counselling helps you process your emotions, understand your grief, and find healthy ways to move forward.

Grief can affect every part of life

Grief is not only sadness. After losing someone important, you may feel shocked, numb, angry, anxious, guilty, exhausted or unable to think clearly. You may find that your sleep, appetite, concentration, work, relationships or confidence are affected.

Some people cry often. Others feel detached or as though they are simply going through the motions. You might feel relief, regret, resentment, confusion or fear about the future. There is no single “right” way to grieve, and your feelings may change from day to day.

Bereavement counselling gives you a safe and confidential space to talk about the person you have lost, what their death has meant for you, and how life feels now. You do not have to hide the difficult emotions, protect other people from your pain, or pretend you are coping better than you are.

Counselling can help you:

  • Make sense of your grief at your own pace
  • Talk openly about the person who has died
  • Understand difficult emotions such as guilt, anger or regret
  • Cope with loneliness, anxiety or low mood after loss
  • Manage anniversaries, birthdays and other painful reminders
  • Adjust to changes in family, relationships or daily routines
  • Find ways to continue living while still honouring your loss

Grief does not have a set timetable. You are allowed to need support whether your loss happened recently or many years ago.
